From steel plate to Pitbull

02 September 2026

A Pitbull doesn’t start at final assembly. It starts as a simple steel plate. In our factory in Etten-Leur, that steel gradually takes shape: from precisely cut parts to a strong chassis and, ultimately, a complete compact loader.

The entire process takes place in the Netherlands. Every Pitbull is developed, manufactured, assembled and inspected here. With modern production techniques, experienced craftsmen and more than 50 years of expertise in machine building.

A strong chassis starts with a flat plate

The chassis forms the foundation of every Pitbull. All the key components come together on it, and it is under constant strain during daily operation. Strength and dimensional accuracy are therefore essential.

Production starts with carefully selected sheet steel. Modern machines cut and shape the various chassis parts with precision. Recesses, connection points and contours are added exactly, so the parts fit together perfectly in the following production steps.

Our welders then build the separate parts into a complete Pitbull chassis. Here, modern machinery and human craftsmanship come together. During the welding process, dimensions, fit and finish are continuously checked.

Built for intensive daily use

A compact loader often works under harsh conditions. Dust, dirt, moisture, uneven terrain and varying loads are all part of daily work in agriculture, construction, landscaping and industry.

After the steel construction, the chassis is therefore carefully prepared and finished. The coating protects the steel and, at the same time, gives every machine its recognisable Pitbull look.

Assembly then begins. The engine or electric drive, hydraulics, axles, lift arm, controls and safety features are fitted to the chassis. Our fitters build up every Pitbull systematically and check all key functions before the machine leaves the factory.

Everything under one roof in Etten-Leur

Because engineering and production take place close together, communication lines are short. Engineers, welders and fitters can consult directly and implement improvements quickly. Experience from production and feedback from users find their way back into the development of our machines.

That collaboration helps us stay in control of the entire process: from the dimensions of a single steel part to the performance of the complete compact loader.

More than 50 years of Dutch craftsmanship

The Pitbull compact loaders were introduced in 2018, but the craftsmanship behind them goes back to 1973. That year, Piet Peeters and his wife Irene founded Tractorhandel De Bloken. Over more than 50 years, the family business Peeters Group grew into a Dutch machine manufacturer active in more than 45 countries.

Since 2020, Pitbull compact loaders have been manufactured in our factory in Etten-Leur. Here we combine years of experience with modern machinery, our own engineering and the expertise of specialised craftsmen.

For us, Made in Holland is therefore more than just a mark of origin. Every Pitbull is 100% developed and manufactured in the Netherlands: from the initial design and the steel plate to assembly and final inspection.

From scratch to hatch. Made in Holland. Built to perform.
