Gebroeders Coremans Grondwerken and the Peeters Group

Coremans has been active as a contracting and earthworks company since the war years. With the arrival of the third generation from 1999 onwards, the family business is continuing to grow steadily. With 70 permanent employees, Coremans serves a wide range of clients across various branches. Coremans works across a large work region with a focus on the south of the Netherlands and the north of Belgium.

Coremans first came into contact with the Peeters Group through its search for a dumper. The first Peecon double-axled dumper proved to be a success in its operation but was soon found to be too small. The double-axle was replaced when 3 new triple-axled dumpers were ordered.

For more than 10 years now, the trucks have been operating on Coremans’ extensive machine park, which is made up of more than 100 machines. Recently, a smaller dumper with a load capacity of 13 metric tons has been added to the range. This smaller dumper is used in slightly smaller scale projects.

The cooperation

Cooperation is a two-way street. Coremans carried out the earthworks for the construction of Peeters’ latest factory in Etten-Leur. A great combination: quality and service are paramount to both companies.

Compact mini shovels

The demand for compact mini shovels rose more and more at Coremans, also because of the (mechanised) street/road works that are being carried out increasingly more often. While Coremans did not have a problem supplying the large wheel loaders on the bigger projects, this became increasingly more difficult for the smaller shipyards. Because of the long-standing close relationship, it was a small step for Coremans to expand its machinery with a Pitbull X27-45.

An ideal addition!

The Pitbull Compact Loader is an ideal addition. Bram Coremans points out that it is now used all over the place. “A pile of stones when driving 1,500 kilos is not a problem!” The fact that the Pitbull is easy to use is another major advantage for Bram, since he constantly has different drivers, which is what makes the Pitbull so multi-purpose, as Coremans sees it.

The Pitbull is used, among other things, for driving large pallets of bricks, sweeping paving work, small-scale earthworks and loading and unloading equipment on the construction site and at the company in Breda. A wonderful cooperation between Coremans and Peeters that can look forward to a bright future based on quality and trust.
